Tema, Aug. 2, GNA- The Tema Circuit court "B" on Monday remanded Benjamin Kyei Gyasi, unemployed for stealing items valued at 4.5 million cedis, property of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA). He pleaded not guilty to three counts of conspiracy, being on premises for unlawful purpose and stealing 42 children's foot wear, eight bed sheets and two babies' cots. He would re-appear on August 16. An accomplice Daniel Sor is on the run. Police Chief Inspector Edith Nutakor, told the court presided over by Mr Stephen Teye that on July 29, at about 2130 hours security personnel of the GPHA on their normal patrol duties sighted Gyasi and Sor stealing from a container stuffed with personal effects at the Tema port. She said the security personnel managed to arrest Gyasi but Sor escaped through the sea.
