Cape Coast, Jan. 18, GNA - An “international walker”, Jerry Bill Crenstil on Monday embarked on a week-long walk to promote the activities and seek support for the creative inventions undertaking by Apostle Kwadwo Safo, Founder and leader of the Kristo Asafo Church.

The walk, which started in the Ashanti Region, and under the theme, “Apostle Safo needs attention”, would continue on Wednesday in the Central Region and end up in the Greater Accra Region on Friday January 20.

Crenstil to GNA Sports in an intervier in Cape Coast on Wednesday that he undertakes annual walks with the aim of “voicing out the concerns of the voiceless” in the society, particularly such national figures such as Apostle Safo who for the past 10years since he started his inventions has not received any support from the government or the international community.

He said he was therefore of the conviction that the walk would create sufficient awareness for the public who did not know about the exploits and inventions of Apostle Safo to be educated on his achievements to give him the needed support to enable him go into mass production.

The walker noted even without support from the government and the international community, the Apostle has single handily been able to produce a lot of equipment including cars, block works, airplane, television sets, electric irons, electric fans and the latest works of a robot for medical use.

Crenstil pointed out that considering the extent to which the Apostle has been able to achieve if given the needed support, resources and logistics, he would be able to invent many more equipment that would go a long way to enhance the image of the country and Africa as a whole.

He said the walk in the Central Region would start from the Edina Omanhen’s Palace in Elmina, through Cape Coast to Winneba and end at Kasoa.
