Bibiani (W/R), June 11, GNA- The Bibiani Circuit Court has remanded a 29-year-old mason from Tepa in the Ahafo-Ano North district into prison custody for possessing fake currency notes amounting to millions of cedis.

Isaac Fosu pleaded guilty to the charge and would re-appear on June 15 for sentence.

Police Inspector Lucky Goglomi, told the court presided over by Mr Kwaku Aboagye, that the police had a tip-off on June 1 this year that Fosu was using fake currency notes in purchasing maize from farmers at Bibiani.
