Aduana Stars continued their march to league glory when they recorded a 2-1 victory over Liberty Professionals at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Sunday.
Aduana started the game brightly and pushed for the opener but could not break through the away side defense.
Aduana, however, were awarded a penalty by referee Dally Gagba in the 12th minute, which was expertly dispatched by Sam Adams.
Liberty restored parity in the 25th minute courtesy striker Bernard Arthur's looping header.
As the first half looked to be heading for a stalemate, Bright Adjei popped up with Aduana second goal of the afternoon in the 45th minute.
The second half failed to produce any spectacular moment as the match ended 2-1 in favour of Aduana Stars.
Aduana remain 2nd on the log with 40 points, same as leaders WAFA, but with inferior goal difference.
