Black Stars lost to Austria in international friendly
Austria humiliated the Black Stars in an international friendly, beating them 5–1 in Vienna on March 27, 2026.
The Austrians began the match with high intensity, applying sustained pressure on the West African side, which eventually resulted in the opening goal.
Jonas Adjetey was adjudged to have handled the ball, and a penalty was awarded. Marcel Sabitzer calmly converted to give Austria the lead.

The team will now travel to Stuttgart to face Germany on Monday, March 30, 2026, in their second friendly match.
