Match Report: Tema Youth 1-1 Wa All Stars-Theophilus strike rescues point for Harbour Boys

Tema Youth were held to a 1-1 draw by Wa All Stars in week eleven of the Ghana Premier League at the Tema Sports Stadium on Monday.

The game which was rained off yesterday started on an uneventful note as the two sides played out cagey game by cancelling out each other up until centre referee William Agbovi brought the first half to a close.

Wa All Stars showed eagerness in the second half as they pressed the home deep into their half but could not break the deadlock.

And just as the game looked to be ending in a stalemate, Wa All Stars midfielder Moses Nyarko connected a precise cross from Sandan David Abagna to give the away lead in the 76th minute.

The home side probed and attack for the equalizer in the dying embers.

But, defender Theophilus Ogoe restored parity for Tema Youth in the 93rd minute to preserve their unbeaten home run.
