Asante Kotoko coach has revealed that the stadium ban has affected his squad as the fans have been denied the opportunity to cheer and motivate the team.
The Porcupines were held by Liberty Professionals in a 1-1 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, and Maxwell Konadu believes the Stadium ban is also affecting his squad.
“We even play much better away than at home, because the supporters have the opportunity to cheer us away from home,” he said.
“The stadium ban affected us, we almost lost the game but we had a great fighting spirit. Even though there was no one to cheer us up, we did our best” he added.
Asante Kotoko have now failed to win two home games; Sunday’s draw against Liberty is the second time they dropping points away from home after losing to Berekum Chelsea few weeks ago.
