Medeama SC goalkeepers' coach Eric Amposah is pleased with the one point they picked against Ashanti Gold SC in midweek in Obuasi.
However, he revealed they took advantage of the current happenings in the Ashanti Gold SC team to earn the vital point.
The Yellow and Mauves took the lead in the 14th minute before the Miners levelled in the 23rd minute.
"It was a very good game in the end. Coming to Obuasi, we knew it wasn't going to be easy whereby supporters were so agitated for an Ashanti Gold SC win at all cost," Amponsah, who doubles as assistant coach, said in a post match interview.
"We spoke to the players that there will be a lot of pressure on Ashanti Gold SC because of the supporters actions and with a new coach".
"We were aware it was going to be difficult for the technical bench to psyche the players.
"We adopted a strategy going into the game and it worked for us. Overall, it was a very good game."
