In a new trend, more men are entering the retail space for women's fashion, finding both financial success and a sense of purpose in a traditionally female-dominated industry.

Some men have shared their reasons for choosing to sell women’s fashion items in the market in an interview with UTV.

"I didn’t have anything to do at home, so rather than starving or resorting to theft, I decided to join in the sale of female fashion items," one man explained.

Another trader echoed this sentiment, saying, "If you stay at home, you’ll starve. So, I sell corsets and pants. I sell, and I get enough to eat."

The men also noted the financial benefits of catering to female customers.

"Men really don’t buy as much, but women are consistent shoppers. On a good day, we can make around 100 Ghana cedis a week. Even if they don’t buy, they still show excitement when they visit our stand," one trader remarked.
