Mentally unstable man allegedly kills his junior brother

A seven-year-old boy was allegedly killed by his sibling in Kwamo, Ashanti, Ghana. The tragedy occurred in the afternoon of Sunday, October 13, 2024.

The accused is regarded as mentally unstable.

Speaking to his uncle, he stated that the accused, Samuel, was detained for attempting to kill someone but was later released due to his mental illness.

He confessed that after supposedly killing the youngster, he returned home and informed them that he had murdered his brother.

The uncle went on to say that the young man told him that he had severed his younger brother’s head and led them to the site where he had left the body.

The deceased’s remains were retrieved from a stream.

Residents expressed sadness at the situation, given the deceased’s age.
