Metropolitan Bank Gets New CEO

Metropolitan and Allied Bank has appointed Mr. Zulkifee Abdul Kadir as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

He takes over from Mr. Alex Ashiagbor, the outgoing executive chairman who retires in August.

Mr. Kadir is an accountant and has held several top management positions both in Malaysia and Africa, particularly in Namibia. He brings to his new job a varied international experience in the field of banking finance.

Mr. Kadir is determined to rebuild the banks image and re-position it as a secure financial entity to be reckoned with.
