The NPP has launched a book designed to give a graphic account of the PNDC and NDC regimes that dominated the Political landscape of the country for almost two decades.

The 65-page book, which was written by Mr Anthony Osei Assibey, the Ashanti Regional first Vice-Chairman of the NPP, seeks to examine the State of the Economy, the Educational Reforms introduced by the Government under Former President Rawlings and their relationship with the Media and the security agencies in those days.

Launching the book, an executive member of the NPP, Mr J.B Danquah, commended the author for coming out with a book that would go a long way to educate the youth on the human rights abuses perpetrated by the PNDC regimes.

Mr Danquah noted further that with such a book the youth would be able to understand the history of the nation, especially with regard to human rights abuses, and guard against such atrocities to ensure sanity in the society.

He said it would also give opportunity to readers to compare the two regimes of the NPP and the NDC and make informed decisions during the December General Elections.
