Sekondi, Aug 18, -- A three-day legal seminar for officers and men of the Second Garrison ended at the Western Naval Command on Friday. It was organized by the legal directorate of the Ghana Armed Forces under the theme ''Promotion of awareness through legal education''. The seminar educated the participants on economic, political and other topical issues and treated topics on the free zone concept, disaster management, international humanitarian law and the challenges of the second parliament of the Fourth Republic. Closing it, Commodore Joe Adoko, officer in charge of the Western Naval Command, urged the participants to make use of the knowledge they had acquired to contribute to national development. He said the seminar had equipped them to work in both military and civilian environments to sustain the country's development.
