At the State House, the military and the police are preparing to escort the remains of the late President Mills to the Independence Square where the final funeral ceremony is expected to take place.
06:00AM: Family of late President Mills have entered the banquet to pay their very final respect to their son
07:00AM: Officials of the National Democratic Congress have also gone in to see the remains of the former President before the casket is brought.
07:17AM: The Independence Square is virtually full as members of the general public make their way to the stands
