Mim (Ash), June 20, GNA - Nana Adu Kofi III, Mim Wireduhene, has renovated the Atwima 0Mim Junior Secondary School block and converted the school's storeroom into a computer laboratory at the cost of 50 million cedis.

He has also provided ceiling fans at the laboratory and the headteacher's office.

Mr Addai Sekyere, the Headteacher of the school, said this at a presentation ceremony to honour students from Saint Louis Teacher Training College in Kumasi who have ended their nine-month outreach teaching practice programme at Mim in the Atwima-Nwabiagya District on Friday.

Nana Adu Kofi had earlier donated four computers and their accessories worth over 32 million cedis to the school. Mr F.C.K. Ntim-Gyakari, Nkawie Circuit Supervisor, advised the students to accept postings to the rural areas where their services were mostly needed.

He commended them for exhibiting a high sense of discipline and professional competence during their outreach programme. Miss Jacqueline Quansah, the leader, on behalf of the students, thanked the school authorities, the community and Madam Grace Frimpong who freely offered her residence to them for their warm hospitality, support, guidance and encouragement. The students later presented some dustbins and washing basins to the school and also presented gifts to the teachers and some residents.
