A regular preacher on Tema-based Adom Fm, Reverend Gabriel Ansah (Nasem University) is reported to have predicted the deaths of some notable figures in the country, particularly ministers and parliamentarians between now and next year.

Gabriel Ansah is said to have made 12 prophecies, including that of the deaths of the ministers of state in the next 12 months, at a seminar held at Apra House, North Kaneshie in Accra recently.

The Heritage newspaper which reported the prophecy credits Gabriel Ansah with some fulfilled predictions, including the tsunami in Asia, the death of Palestine's ex-president Yasser Arafat, the death of Togo's ex-president, Gnassingbe Eyadema, the death of the late Pope John Paul, as well as the demise of some parliamentarians in Ghana, and concludes that his claims cannot be ignored.

The seminar, attended by about 500 congregants, was under the theme: 'And I Saw Heaven Open'.

The paper said since the inception of his annual Christian seminars, Rev. Gabriel Ansah has never failed to put forward prophetic revelations about the future state of the world.

“These have made some dread the man of God, while some others love and adore him as an impeccable mouthpiece of God; but there is a third group of people who view the priest's prophecies as being largely speculative and woven around events likely to happen,” according to the paper.

The report said Gabriel Ansah predicted the recent death of Peace FM’s presenter and music producer, Mufty Dabre among the 12 alarming revelations.

That prophecy had come in the form of 'a popular radio or television presenter would be in big bad news', six clear days before Mufty passed away.

Below are the chronological presentations of the 12 prophecies as posited by the man of God.

1. Gospel songs from this year to the next will excel.

2. There will be numerous rainstorms, earthquakes and floods.

3. Some countries will try to capture Israel.

4. Four to five world leaders are going to pass away from now to next year. 5. A television station in Ghana is going to be in flames.

6. A popular radio and television presenter will be in a big bad news.

7. God will favour His faithful and suffering pastors.

8. Ghana is going to be in the world news again.

9. Death is going to swing from parliamentarians to ministers of state. He therefore advises ministers of state to pray fervently to avoid being taken unawares.

10. A very famous figure will repent and accept Christ.

11. God's people will be victorious in their endeavours. He supported this with Psalm 108:13.

12. There is going to be a big coup d'etat in an African country.

In an interview with The Heritage, Gabriel Ansah said he does not bothered if he is branded a prophet of doom.

"I don't care what people say about me because it is God who has ordered me to reveal these prophecies. It isn't by my own will that I do prophesy, I am not one of those pastors who prophesy to please men. I do what God has ordered me to do."

The paper recalls that over the last 12 years, so many MPs have died, some of them through motor accidents and further deaths of ministers and MPs could come as a very serious blow to the nation and also come at a huge cost.

“The pain, loss of precious lives and national leaders aside, the departure of a single MP implies hundreds of millions of cedis debt to the state. By-elections held to find replacements for them are very expensive to the state and the political parties that have to prepare by way of campaigning for votes.”
