Ministry to employ 30 lawyers

The Ministry of Justice has initiated moves to employ 30 lawyers this year as part of government?s plans to strengthen justice delivery in the country.

The Deputy Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Ms Gloria Akuffo, said this in an interview in Accra.

According to her, the ministry requires about 200 lawyers to man its offices at the regional and district levels throughout the country, but noted that the ministry cannot engage all of them immediately because of budgetary constraints.
