The formation of a 7-member Jury for the trial of the Major Maxwell Mahama case has hit a snag again after one of the jurors on Monday pulled out.

The juror who declined to sit on the seven-member panel told the court she was simply uncomfortable.

This compelled the Presiding Judge, Mariama Owusu to adjourn the case to 25th of April.

This is the second time empanelling of a jury, in that case, has failed.

Last week there was a similar drama in court when the Major Mahama killers and their Defense team rejected the composition of the jury formed to hear the trial of the accused persons.

Eight out of the 14 people who were presented to be selected to form the seven-member panel to hear the case were rejected by the Major Mahama “killers” and their lawyers.

Late Major Mahama was lynched by locals at Denkyira Obuasi, now New Obuasi upon suspicion that he was an armed robber.
