Kojo Addo, the Central regional consistency committee chairmen of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is outraged at the decision to suspend the Central Regional 1st Vice Chairman of the party, Mr Horace Ekow Ewusi.
In an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Mr Addo expressed his displeasure at the dismissal of the 1st Vice Chairman without following proper procedure.
“You can’t dismiss us without due process,” he said.
According to him, the decision should be left with the regional offices and the constituency chairmen since constitutionally they have the right to vote officials in and out of office.
“The body hasn’t submitted any appeal to suspend the chairman in question to the headquarters. As far as we are concerned Chairman Ewusi is still our Vice Chairman,” he added.
