The Founder of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, says many Ghanaian politicians are liars.
According to him, Ghanaian politicians hate the truth and that they needlessly get offended when their shortcomings are pointed out.
The respected man of God was speaking to Roman Fada on the “Edwuma oo” mid-morning show on Atinka FM Thursday.
Prophet Badu Kobi urged Ghanaians to speak the truth at all times and not allow themselves to be intimidated by politicians.
The man of God was explaining circumstances that led to the alleged confrontation between him and Adomako Baafi, an NPP communicator at Afrikiko a week ago. He said he never threatened anyone contrary to claims by the politician.
Prophet Badu said the NPP communicator had alleged on Accra based Okay FM that, he (Badu Kobi) had planted “juju” in his church.
“So I only asked him to go and show me where I had planted the juju. Apparently, he (Adomako) did not know me until I introduced myself. So the man had never met me but claimed I use juju in my church. So, he was only spreading falsehood about me even though he doesn’t know me,” he told Roman Fada.
According to him, Christians must rise up against the ills of society, adding that politicians over the years, have been allowed to do what pleases them because Christians, who have been mandated by God to be the conscience of society, “have rather become so timid.”
“Christians don’t like confrontation and it is not good at all; if we [Christians] want to dominate, then we must confront the ills of society. You cannot conquer anything if you don’t confront it,” the famous prophet told Roman Fada.
According to him, political power is transient but men of God will always be around to speak the mind of God.
He, therefore charged politicians not to be arrogant and rather focused on providing development to the people.
Prophet Badu Kobi asked politicians to accommodate constructive criticisms and not tagged all critics as political opponents since the country belongs to all of us.
