Mrs Akufo-Addo visits Sunyani market

Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo, wife of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP), has toured the Nana Bosoma Market, popularly known as Wednesday Market, in Sunyani.

She made the unannounced visit on her way to Accra from Tamale after attending the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) presidential debate last Tuesday.

The traders received Mrs Akufo-Addo enthusiastically as they embraced and struggled to shake her hand.

She said promises being made by Nana Akufo-Addo concerning free Senior High School (SHS) and free health care for children less than 18 years under the National Health Insurance Scheme were achievable and could be fulfilled.

Mrs Akufo-Addo appealed to the electorate to vote massively for her husband on December 7.

The entourage proceeded to the Sunyani main taxi rank at the old station in the central business district where she reminded the drivers to exercise restraint on the road as Christmas approaches.
