Former Member of Parliament and Deputy Trades Minister Murtala Mohammed has urged Former President Rawlings, Nana Konadu and Martin Amidu to speak on the scandals bedeviling the New Patriotic Party government lately.
He quizzed that ‘"Where are they? in the same way they condemned the scandals in the National Democratic Congress government, I expect them to come out in the same way and talk about that once they are crusaders of probity and accountability."
He expressed that the majority should have boycotted the approval of the whole budget in the first place.
Hon Murtala alleged that Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Marfo is "one of the most corrupt ministers" in this country and made reference to why he was taken out of erstwhile president kufuor’s government .
Hon Murtala said "He ought to be prosecuted for fraudulently operating that office."
Seeing all this scandals happening in the New Patriotic Party government, has caused the Hon Murtala Mohammed to bemoan the sudden silence of this figures as he expected them in the same way to comment on this scandals in order to stand for the said probity and accountability.
