Kumasi, July 19, GNA- Alhaji Amen Bonsu, Managing Director of Amen Scientific Herbal Clinic, has called on Muslims to demonstrate a high sense of respect and care for their fellow human beings.

He said this would not only bring the needed peace and development everyone was looking for, but a great blessing to Muslims.

Alhaji Bonsu who was speaking to newsmen in Kumasi at the weekend, said Islam as a religion was greatly respected and the adherents needed to work hard to protect its image.

He stressed the need for Muslims to re-dedicate themselves and adhere to the teachings and practices of Prophet Mohammed, the founder of Islam.

He said Muslims needed to support their children, especially the girls to acquire secular education as they also avail themselves of the functional literacy programmes to improve on their standard of living. Alhaji Bonsu said by so doing they can also improve on their spiritual development and their social standing at all levels in the society.

Touching on dressing, he urged Muslim parents to endeavour to seriously monitor the dressing of their children, especially the young girls so that they could command respect and avoid public criticisms.
