My mother still has issues with NDC – Zanetor

“If my mother should come-back to the National Democratic Congress again, then the core issues that caused her exit must be addressed rightly and with the people who were involved,” Daughter of Ex-President Jerry John Rawlings, Dr. Zanetor Rawlings has said.

She’s indicated that her mum still has issues she feels strongly about and until they are resolved her return would remain a wish.

The NDC aspirant in the Klottey Korle constituency in the Greater Accra Region told Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3 FM on Tuesday that, "its unfortunate my mum is with another party because she worked so hard in the NDC, and that cannot be taken away.”

The ultimate decision to have Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings return to the NDC again, she said, can be made by her alone.

Zanetor is seeking to unseat the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), Nii Armah Ashietey, when the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) goes to the polls on November 7.

Two others are also seeking to unseat the incumbent MP.
