Zdravko refutes claim that he has the best players in the GPL
Asante Kotoko head coach, Dzravko Lugarusic, says he doesn’t have the best players in the Ghana Premier League (GPL), as asserted by many football pundits who tout the Kotoko team, as one endowed with quality.
Kotoko are level on points with Aduana Stars who are top of the league on goal difference after match day four, having won three matches and drawn one.
According to the coach, Kotoko doesn’t have the players in the league, as there are equally good players across various clubs, who can make Kotoko’s starting 11.
”Most football enthusiasts say Kotoko has the best players, but I don’t have the best players, I have already spotted so many talents across various clubs that can be starters in my Kotoko".
“Ghana is full of talented players, so you can say that for only Kotoko, so lets be realistic we have the names but names don’t play football,”Lugarusic said in an interview".
