I had a vision about Kufuor's accident
A Man of God has told Public Agenda that he had a vision that President John Agyekum Kufuor would be involved in an accident. Pastor Kwadwo Agyekum said the accident is spiritual and was bound to happen but his prayers saved the ‘Gentle Giant's’ life.
The Man of God who says he is more of a prophet than a shepherd is a Minister of the Kingdom Worship Centre Church with its headquarters at Apraku, near Weija Junction on the Mallam-Kasoa road. The Church is headed by Bishop Kofi Acheampong.
President Kufuor was on his way to the Castle, Osu last Wednesday when his vehicle somersaulted thrice after a driver who has been identified as 51-year-old Thomas Osei, the Managing Director of Pure Constructions Ltd., crashed his Benz car into the President's car.
According to Pastor Agyekum, God was only using the accident as a channel to send a wake-up call to the "Gentle Giant" about certain negative tendencies which were creeping into his administration though he (Pastor) would not name those tendencies.
"God had revealed to me sometime back that due to certain negative practices of the government the President and other top officials were going to be involved in such accidents," Pastor Agyekum claimed in an exclusive chat with the Public Agenda last Friday.
He said, following the revelation about the accident and many other issues of national interest, he travelled to one of the prayer camps at the Atwea Mountains located at Abasua, near Nsuta in the Ashanti Region where he fasted and prayed against any fatalities.
Nonetheless, "there are more calamities ahead unless the nation goes on her knees," he warned, explaining that a series of accidents would occur within the next twelve months in which "three top politicians would lose their lives:"
President Kufuor escaped unhurt from the collision which occurred at the Silver Star Tower/Opeibea junction traffic light on the three-lane Liberation Road. His accident though, overshadowed those of two of his ex-lieutenants; Nana Akufo-Addo's in the morning of the same day and Alan Kyerematen's at the preceding weekend.
