Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has revealed that his achievements in football strikes fear in his teammates at North East United.
Gyan, Ghana's all time leading scorers is revered for his tremendous accomplishments in football including being Africa's all time leading scorer at the FIFA World Cup.
The 34-year old has excelled in every country he played in including the most popular league in the World, the English Premier League.
The Ghana international is arguably the biggest star in the Indian Super League at the moment, having already netted three goals in six games.
“The players respect me a lot and that is a good thing but sometimes it puts a fear into them and I don’t want that. I want them to come close to me so that we can do everything together,” he told the Hindustan Times.
The ex-Kayserispor forward picked up an injury in his side's 3-0 defeat to ATK at the weekend in the Indian Super League.
