My transfer politically motivated - Fired GES PRO

Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Education Service (GES) Rev Jonathan Bettey has disclosed that his transfer to Cape Coast in the Central Region is politically motivated.

According to a report on Kasapafmonline.com, the PRO has been reassigned in a routine transfer that has affected non-teaching staff at the GES headquarters in Accra with Reverend Bettey who has served in that capacity since 2015 also affected.

But the Man of God who suspects political undertones in his transfer is reported to have said: “They’ve transferred me to Cape Coast, you say wow, yea…that’s Ghana politics for you. I’ve been transferred so I can’t speak, thank you.”
