He appears adamant about all his burdens and now resorts to preaching the least chance he gets.

Embattled Menzgold CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah for some time now has been seen “preaching” on several platforms including social media since his court trial started in Ghana.

He is currently standing trial for defrauding by false pretence and money laundering after his gold dealership company failed to honour obligations to several thousands of depositors.

His assets and bank accounts for that matter have been frozen by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) pending trial.

Yet, ‘resolute’ NAM1 remains unshaken as he runs to God for solace.

“Even Jesus Christ had his fair share of prosecution. I seek the approval of God and not that of men. The fruit is what will determine the tree. My eye is fixed on the ball. who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?” These were some of his words during his recent press briefing at the MJ Grand Hotel in Accra.

In another instance, he likened his situation to that of Jesus Christ. By this, NAM1 said he is not daunted by enemies and quoted an Apostle of the Jesus Christ, Paul, who said “all things work together for the good of them that loves the lord, those who are called according to his purpose,“ to buttress his point.

Meanwhile, several people including Ibrah One believe Menzgold customers are being lied to about payments.

The aggrieved Menzgold customers also expressed how their hopes were dashed after the company’s recently much-awaited press conference failed to address their fears over the locked up cash.

"After listening to Nana Appiah Mensah we are very disappointed, we were of the view that now that he is going to talk he will come out with something concrete, we want timelines and measures, we are not satisfied with his answer because at the end of the day does it mean that if the government does not fulfil his conditions it means we have lost our investments.” A spokesperson for the customers said.

Here are several instances the Embattle Menzgold boss took to preaching instead of addressing pertinent issues

Repent; accept Jesus Christ

“If some people are working against me, they should pray and repent and accept Jesus Christ,” he stated at a press conference. “My mother tells me that life is a war. I won’t say everybody wishes me well but all things work for good to those that love God,” he stated at his recent press briefing.

who shall separate us from the love of Christ? – He quoted the bible after the Zylofon TV fire incident

The property housing Zylofon TV has was gutted by fire recently and immediately after the incident, NAM1 took to twitter and quoted Romans 8:28 which read; “who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
