The New Patriotic Party (NPP) witnessed a day of excitement and celebration as it officially launched its newly-amended 2025 constitution at the party’s headquarters on December 3, 2025.
The event, which drew party executives, members, and supporters from across the country, was marked by speeches, presentations, and symbolic gestures underscoring the NPP’s commitment to strengthening its internal structures and preparing for future political contests.
One of the highlights of the launch was when Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO), former Minister of Education, former Minister of Energy and the party’s 2024 vice-presidential candidate, purchased a copy of the amended constitution for GH¢50,000.

Party leaders described the amended constitution as a critical step in addressing challenges that emerged during the 2024 Election and in repositioning the NPP for victory in future polls.
The amendments are expected to streamline decision-making, enhance accountability, and strengthen grassroots participation.
The launch concluded with renewed calls for unity, discipline, and adherence to the new constitutional provisions, as the NPP seeks to consolidate its base and prepare for the political battles ahead.
