In response to a recent announcement made by a group identifying itself as the "Concerned NSS Personnel Association of Ghana" (CONSAG), the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) has clarified that it has not declared any strike for National Service Personnel.

NASPA, the official representative body for all National Service personnel in Ghana, issued a statement urging the public to disregard the claims made by CONSAG, highlighting that the latter is not a recognized organization.

In a statement signed by Gideon Osei, the National President of NASPA, the association emphasized its ongoing efforts to address the recent delays in allowance payments in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) management.

"We are pleased to inform all personnel that allowances for April 2024 have been processed and paid and will reflect in your accounts by Friday, July 5, 2024," Osei announced.

He added that "Additionally, allowances for May 2024 will be paid next week, by Friday, July 12, 2024."

NASPA also reassured personnel of its commitment to their well-being and the diligent work being done to prevent future delays, ensuring that allowances are timely reflected in their e-zwich accounts.

The association called for calm and urged personnel to continue their valuable service to the nation.

"We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Please remain calm and continue your valuable service to our nation. We assure you that NASPA is actively addressing your concerns for a smooth and supported National Service experience," the statement added.
