The National Council of Ghanaian Associations in New York (NCOGA) has presented a clock embossed with the name of the association to Ambassador Ken Kanda, out-going Ghana's Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative to the United Nations at a ceremony at the Mission in New York.
Before the presentation, Mr. Ofori Anor, Executive Secretary of NCOGA recalled the strong bonds of friendship that the Ambassador had created with the Ghanaian communityduring his four-year stay, saying that "we will surely miss your brotherly and fatherly relations, especially in taking certain decisions".
The Executive Secretary hoped that the warm relations between NCOGA and the Mission will continue.
Responding, Ambassador Kanda thanked NCOGA for the gift, which he said will be among his cherished treasures.
He promised to continue with the relationship wherever he will find himself.
