TO GARNER VOTES FOR JOHN MAHAMA

As part of its commitments to ensuring that H.E. John Dramani Mahama wins this year’s election in a one touch fashion, the Atlanta Chapter of the National Democratic Congress embarked on an exercise dubbed ‘OPERATION PAPERCLIP’, to gather votes (ballot papers) earmarked for this year’s election, and ‘CLIP’ them for H.E John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress . Under ‘OPERATION PAPERCLIP’, NDC Atlanta aims at making half a million calls to the electorates in Ghana as a way to;

1. Continue marketing H.E. John Mahama

2. Energize the support base of NDC

3. Convince floating voters to vote for NDC

In light of this, members of this Chapter converged at the usual meeting venue on Saturday December 1, and over 200 people, most of them residing in the Greater Accra and the Central Regions were talked to. We are currently receiving more numbers from Ghana and entreat other diasporian Chapters interested in participating in ‘OPERATION PAPERCLIP’ to contact us at eyezuatlanta@gmail.com.

We wish to state categorically that this exercise is being conducted by members of NDC Atlanta on our own volition and continued support for the President and NDC, and that we have not been sponsored by any person or the Government of Ghana. We want to clarify this impression because most of the people we spoke to in Ghana especially in Accra, thought we are being sponsored by the Government. Although it is expensive to call about 300 to 500 people in Ghana, we believe it is the best contribution that we can give to our dear party in particular and the good people of Ghana in general at this crucial time.

We believe that H.E. John Dramani Mahama should be voted as the next President of Ghana because:

I. He is a MAN OF PEACE, and will never instigate anybody to fight or to go to war.

II. He has been tried as a VICE PRESIDENT, and TESTED as a PRESIDENT (none of the Presidential candidates has these kinds of experience to be given the most difficult job in Ghana).

III. He has PEOPLE CENTERED POLICIES (The Better Ghana Agenda).

IV. NDC has achieved a lot in terms of INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENTS and working hard to improve the lives of Ghanaians.

V. NDC needs additional four years under the leadership of the President to complete the Better Ghana Agenda.

This exercise continues tomorrow, Sunday December 2 at the same venue. We urge Ghanaians to vote massively for John Mahama and the NDC on Friday December 7.
