NDC Atlanta supports Sammy Osei

NDC ATLANTA THROWS WEIGHT BEHIND MR. SAMMY OSEI FOR THE ABUAKWA SOUTH PARLIAMENTARY SEAT

The executives and the entire membership of NDC Atlanta have thrown their weight behind a distinguished son of Ghana and the current Vice Chairman of NDC Atlanta Mr. Sammy Osei in his quest to take the Abuakwa South Parliamentary seat from the non-performing NPP Member of Parliament. Mr. Sammy Osei’s vision for Abuakwa South is to transform the constituency into a viable economic hub through the creation of economically profitable programs, structures and re-orientation and development of the constituency’s human capital. In light of this, key sectors that will undergo radical transformation during his tenure as an MP include Education, Infrastructural Development and Job Creation. This transformation will be done within the framework of the “Better Ghana Agenda”. Mr. Sammy Osei holds a Masters degree in Public Administration and Health Care Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, Devry University. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Technical and Health Service Management from the same University.

Mr. Sammy Osei is a unique candidate for NDC for the Abuakwa South constituency. Firstly, he was the NDC Parliamentary candidate for this constituency during the 2008 elections and he impressively obtained about 40% of the total vote cast for the parliamentary candidates when NPP was in power, and against all the threats, intimidations and the electoral maneuverings that characterized the elections. Secondly, he is a native of this constituency, born and bred there, so he understands the issues and problems facing the people in Abuakwa South. Additionally, Mr. Sammy Osei has built a great grassroot political machinery during the 2008 elections in this constituency, which is still active and vibrant, and with this he is poised to building upon and increasing his percentage votes for the 2012 elections. We believe that Mr. Sammy Osei can win this seat against all odds, most especially against the backdrop of the abysmal performance of the current MP.

The people of Abuakwa South deserves monumental developments and jobs and not hard talking MP as has been the case and they should therefore be proud of an illustrious son in the person of Mr. Tashman Sammy Osei, who has distinguished himself in all walks of life. Members of NDC Atlanta have pledged their unflinching support for Mr. Sammy Osei and are going to campaign with him during the 2012 elections, and are therefore calling on the Chiefs and people of Abuakwa South to rally behind Mr. Sammy Osei for the 2012 Parliamentary election.
