…Overwhelming influx of Togolese, Beninoise to Adeiso tilts the balance

An NDC foot soldier who is highly disappointed with the corruption within the corridors of power has said that even though the rank and file of the party are not too happy with the system of governance of President John Atta Mills, there is no way the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would win power in the constituency. Asked by this paper why he was so emphatic in his assertion, he replied that, there is an overwhelming influx of Togolese and Beninoise to Adeiso and its surrounding villages, most of whom had been registered as Ghanaian voters. “I am an Ewe and am telling you the truth because you are my friend. My people have been brainwashed, that the NDC is an Ewe party and that a victory for the Akan-dominated NPP is a doom for their deportation from Ghana”, he disclosed. This NDC foot soldier who warned this paper of strict anonymity further disclosed that these Togolese and Beninoirs have come here with various juju or have acquired some here to make them powerful spiritually.

“I am a Christian, a member of the E.P. Church and therefore loathe these deities. Any attempt to challenge or litigate with them over anything will result in your death. My brother I am not joking, it is a fact”, that was the foot soldier.

According to him these idol worshipers are made to swear on their gods during election time to vote for the NDC and they indeed vote with the fear of reprisal from their gods if they failed to do so.

“My brother, tell the NPP never to bother to put up a parliamentary candidate because that would be an exercise in futility. Here in Adeiso the people will even vote for a cockroach with NDC colours,” he said.

When asked whether it is true that the dreaded Dr. Beckley had taken residence in Adeiso or any of the villages, the NDC foot soldier claimed he has heard of a powerful juju man from Togo who most of his kinsmen are consulting. “I have not seen him myself since am not part of their demonic activities”, he said.
