NDC Klottey Korle elects new executives

Accra, Nov. 30, GNA - The Klottey Korle Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has held its delegates conference to elect new members to steer the affairs of the Party in the area. Speaking at the conference a Deputy National Youth Organiser, Mr Ludwig Hledze urged members to unite more than ever before in their quest to wrest power from the New Patriotic Party in 2008 Election 2008. He said members should be concerned about the welfare of the Party as well as themselves, adding that for the conference to take place was a great achievement.

He urged members "to live exemplary lives to attract others to join the great Party," adding, "now that the constituency has elected dedicated and reliable team I believe they will be able to deliver. "Their experience indisputably will enhance the chances of the NDC in the 2008 elections in the constituency."

The elected members were Nii Armah Ashitey, former Chief Executive of the Tema Municipal Assembly, as the Chairman; Miss Emelia Holm, First Vice-Chairperson; Mr Benjamin Marsh Turkson, Secretary. The others were Mr Maxwell Mingle, Organiser; Ms Elizabeth Adjin, Treasurer; E. N. Adumuah, Propaganda Secretary and Ms Belinda Sackey-Addo, Women Organiser.
