Lawyer James Enu, aka the“Homeboy”, the parliamentary candidate for Tema West on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and the constituency executives yesterday Wednesday 30th November 2016, organized a mini rally at sakumono as part of its programs to wrestle the seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that has occupied it since 1996.
Constituency executives like Chairman Ben Doe Ganyo, Richard Fiadumor, former parliamentary aspirant Mr. George Medie, the Tema Mayor and Hon.Isaac Odamtten, who were in attendance, addressed the supporters who thronged the rally ground in their numbers.
The crowd was finally addressed by lawyer James Enu, who encouraged them to intensify the campaign by propagating the works of the John Mahama led government and “Homeboy’s” vision for Tema West.
The Tema west constituency has been held by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) since 1996, but the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is poised to capture the seat being contested by Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, who dethroned Irene Naa Torshie Addo during their primaries.
