Two kingpins of the ruling National Democratic Congress NDC), Joseph Ade Coker, Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the party and Harry Zarkour, NDC Korle Klottey Chairman, have for the first time revealed plans and vowed to kick out Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantekyi from the hot seat at the FA.

The two made their intentions known at the hurriedly organized stakeholders meeting on Football held on Friday at the Premier Best Hotel in Airport, Accra.

The agenda of these NDC bigwigs became apparent when these two made no secret of their intention to see a change at the FA at the said meeting which was convened by new Minister for Youth and Sports, Mahama Ayariga.

While speaking to a group of journalists present at the conference, Mr. Harry Zarkour vowed “We have to kick this boy out, how can he send his wife to the world cup."

Things only got worse when on hearing these comments, President of the FA, Kwesi Nyantekyi, approached Zarkour ostensibly to explain things to him.

The former Hearts of Oak boss and NDC strong man went livid on why the FA President had called him Harry Zarkour and warned the FA President to respect him since he was older than him.

Not even attempts by the FA President to explain that he called him Mr. Harry Zarkour could calm down the owner of Bus Stop restaurant who went ahead and declared in front of all present that they will kick out the FA President.

“We will kick you out. I am more of a northerner and can be rougher than you think you are," he blurted.

Earlier at the same programme, Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NDC, Ade Coker, openly reprimanded former GFA Boss, Nana Butler for calling for continuity at the FA. Joseph Ade Coker also made no secret of the plans and wishes to see the back of the FA President.

The latest incidents come in the wake of a disastrous World Cup Campaign, which has led to calls for the head of the FA President. In the early aftermath of Ghana’s elimination at the World Cup Campaign, National Women’s Organizer of the NDC, Anita Desoso and aspiring Central Regional Chair of the NDC, Allotey Jacobs, all called for the sack of the FA President.

It is not yet known if these calls are a grand scheme by the NDC as a party to get rid of the FA President and the level of involvement or otherwise of other powers in the party and government.
