Bolgatanga, Aug 23, GNA – A communication group of the National Democratic Congress Party (NDC), has said it would continue to profess the massive and unprecedented political and socio-economic and infrastructural development being rolled out by the government.

Mr. John Paul Duncan, a member of the NDC communication team in the Upper East Region, said: “No amount of attempted black mailing would cow the ruling government’s communication machinery”.

A statement signed by Mr. Duncan, copied to GNA in Bolgatanga, said the group has keenly been monitoring recent attacks by the main opposition party and its pro-media houses on the government communication machinery.

It said such attacks would never stop the team from propagating the good policies, Better Ghana Agenda and the successes so far chalked out by the NDC.

The statement said the attacks were aimed at discrediting the government’s communication machinery so that the main opposition party and its pro-media outlets could achieve their ultimate aim of discrediting President John Evans Atta Mills.

He appealed to sympathizers of the government to be bold but circumspect in commenting on issues and avoid distortions.
