NDC delegates will teach Anyidoho a bitter lesson - Mahama’s boy

Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in charge of operations, Mr Koku Anyidoho will be taught the lesson of his life should he dare contest for any executive position of the party considering his public commentary on certain sensitive issues in the party.

A staunch supporter of the former President John Dramani Mahama, Mohammed Aboagye in an exclusive interview with mynewsgh.com said it an open secret that Mr Koku Anyidoho has always not been in favour of the ex-president prior to his exit from power in December 2016.

“It is now clear that he does not personally like President John Dramani Mahama and I want to warn him to get ready because delegates are prepared to deal with him in his own coin. He has made his dislike for Mahama clear right after the 2016 polls”, he disclosed.

Mr Anyidoho who was responding to calls by the Former President for party members to lend support to former appointees who may be hauled before court on allegations of corruption said :” Why should I wake up in the morning and say a particular individual has been sent to court so I must follow him to court?”, he asked.

“Of course, such persons have families, friends and loved ones who are free to follow them to court and of course who may want to follow them to court and nothing stops them but to mass up as party executives, stop our jobs and follow them to court, no”, he added.

But Mr Aboagye reminded him of how the late Professor Evans Atta Mills attended court sessions in the case of the quality grain scandal involving some appointees under the Rawlings administration.

“Does he mean he is more important that the late Mills? Anyidoho should be measured by some of the statements he makes before the party descends on him because the repercussions could be daming”, he warned.

It would be recalled that former President John Dramani Mahama while addressing patrons of the 36th Anniversary of 31st December Revolution said:”

“we must be prepared to face any prosecution that this government throws at us, but we must do so with commitment and solidarity.

“Solidarity with our colleagues who may fall foul of the law because the law says you are innocent until proven guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction”.
