Some prophets including Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, General Overseer of Godsway International Ministry and the Eagle Prophet have attributed the death of students at Kumasi Academy, to evil spirits.

However, they failed to attribute to any individual or group of people. But another prophet in the person of Kojo Agyekum, who is the founder of the Emmanuel Temple International, has attributed the mysterious multiple deaths to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

It has been established that the mysterious deaths recorded at the Kumasi Academy in the Ashanti region were caused by a respiratory illness known as Influenza H1N1 209.

Addressing the media Thursday, the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu said 19 tests conducted by the Nogouchi Memorial Institute confirmed Influenza H1N1 209 as the cause of the deaths and not meningitis as earlier suspected.

Influenza H1N1 209 also known as swine flu was last recorded in Ghana in 2009.

According to the Minister also stated that seven students who died at KUMACA in April this year died from meningitis.

reacting to the issue, Prophet Kojo Agyekum says the NDC have tied the current president so he will encounter such evil machinations in the bid to make his government unpopular.

According to him, the NDC has managed to make the government under Nana Addo spiritually impotent and it will get to a period where Ghanaians will blame the president for sacrificing Ghanaian students for the free senior school.

He told Rainbow Radio that they went to Aburi Mountains to pray and it was revealed to them that, the spiritual death will start at some of our elite secondary schools with at least five students, dying from each of these schools.

He continued: ‘’blame the the opposition NDC. They have done this because they want people to accuse Nana Addo for going for spiritual support to make his SHS policy succeed.’’

He further revealed that, the National Youth Organizer of the NPP, Sammy Awuku, was to lead in the prayers and the day for the prayers, was to start on the day the president was born; however, the letter I sent to the president was not given to him.''

He stressed that if prayers are not offered, more students will continue to die in other schools because the attack is spiritual and not H1N1 Influenza as stated by the medical team that worked on the blood samples.

‘’That is what God revealed to our prayer warriors. We will appeal to parents to rise up and pray because what has happened is not ordinary. It is spiritual. I heard some of the students saying that the situation is a spiritual attack and so they want it to be treated as such. I will also appeal to Nana Addo to take the prophecy serious.’’
