Photography duo Twindntbeg has expressed confidence in the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) chances in the 2028 presidential election.

According to them, the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration has performed abysmally in its first year in governance.

Speaking in an interview with Elsie Lamar on GhanaWeb TV, they said they were elated by the NPP's recent primary results, describing it as a significant step toward reclaiming the presidency.

"We just won our primaries and we are a step ahead, closer to the presidency in 2028. I know that we're definitely going to win the next election," they stated.

Twindntbeg criticised the NDC's performance, noting that its flagship "24-hour economy" policy caused unnecessary noise during the campaign season in 2024 but has failed to deliver tangible results so far.

"The 24-hour economy that they disturbed the whole of Ghana with, they don't even know what they are doing," they said.

They also pointed to the rising cost of utilities as evidence of the government's struggles, noting that electricity and water bills have been skyrocketing since the NDC took office.

“Electricity and water bills are skyrocketing. They've actually not really done anything since they got into power,” they added.

Twinsdontbeg referenced the recent water crisis and ongoing galamsey concerns as indicators of poor governance, criticising the #StopGalamsey protests in 2024 that led to road blockages.

"They blocked the roads for like a week in the name of protest. They made it look like we are not going to even get water to drink," The twins remarked.

They noted that the NDC's much-promised "reset" agenda was failing to deliver, saying it was instead "resetting Ghana backwards."
