Correspondence from Ashanti Region
An NDC supporter who suffered beatings by police officers during the Ashanti Regional part of the 'Enough is Enough' demonstration has shared his ordeal.
According to the ardent supporter who hails from the Asante Akim constituency, he was pushed by the police in an attempt to enter the EC office.
"When we were entering the premises, the police pushed me and I resisted. One of them used the side of the gun to hit my head while another one pepper-sprayed my eyes. I didn't offend anyone.
"We don't understand why the police would do that. Look at how they've injured me. It is very unfortunate," he said.
