NGO Constructs 21mC Clinic

Sefwi Paboase (W/R), June, -- World Vision International (WVI), a non-governmental organisation, is constructing a 21 million-cedi clinic and a living quuarters for the medical staff at Sefwi P Nana Frimpong Manso, chief of the town, told newsmen that the people have already contributed 4.5 million cedis towards the project. He said a development levy of 10,000 cedis and 5,000 cedis per male and female residents respectively, and a flat rate of 20,000 cedis for non-residents, are being paid to finance the project. Mr Joseph Okom, chairman of the project implementation committee, commended World Vision for the assistance and said the project would be completed by the end of August this year. Mr Okom said WVI has constructed a six-classroomed junior secondary school block, a KVIP and a day-care centre for the people under the town's five-year development programme.
