Kojo-Bediako (Ash), Dec. 28, GNA 96 Redeem Africa Foundation, a nongovernmental organisation (NGO) based in Kumasi, has presented a number of items valued at about 50 million cedis to 101 orphans at Kojo-Bediako in the Ahafo-Ano North District of Ashanti. Each of the beneficiaries selected from 10 communities in the Anyinasuso and Kojo-Bediako Sub-Districts was given stationery items, footwear, school bag, treated mosquito bed nets and school uniform.

Each of the beneficiaries selected from 10 communities in the Anyinasuso and Kojo-Bediako Sub-Districts was given stationery items, footwear, school bag, treated mosquito bed nets and school uniform. Making the presentation, Mr Ellis Bobie-Ansah, Executive Director of the Foundation, advised parents to cherish their children as the most important valuable on earth and to use their resources to give them better education. He also advised children to be obedient to their parents, teachers and the elderly in society and to be disciplined in whatever they did. Mrs Elizabeth Danso Adentwi, District Director of Health Services, thanked the organisation for its gesture and said HIV/AIDS was real and stressed the need for people, who continued to attribute the cause of the pandemic to spiritual spell to discard the notion and live decent lives.
