Kumasi, Oct 14, GNA - The Monzana Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Holland, has built a clinic for the Rockanjie Presbyterian Experimental School at Old Tafo in Kumasi at the cost of 200 million cedis.

In addition, the NGO has provided drugs and 1,200 treated mosquito nets, all worth about 61 million cedis to the school.

The Rev Dr Yaw Frimpong-Manso, the Moderator-elect of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, said at the presentation ceremony that although the government had taken control of Presbyterian schools it was the responsibility of members of the church to link up with corporate bodies to complement the efforts of the government and that of the church at improving the schools.

"We will be doing ourselves more harm than good if we perceive that the management and control of Presbyterian schools is the sole responsibility of the government".

Mrs Margaret Engela, Chairperson of Monzana Foundation, who presented the items, said her foundation was committed to eradicating malaria in the school.
