Ho, Feb. 2, GNA- Personnel of the Ghana Health Service (GHS) would be required to wear name tags as a prerequisite to benefit from the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).

Mr Prosper Pi-Bansah, Ho District Manager of the NHIS, who made this known in Ho, said the measure would facilitate the easy identification and monitoring of the output of the personnel to help improve on service delivery.

He was briefing workers on the benefits of the Scheme. Mr Pi-Bansah said the Scheme would provide a Complaints Committee, which will deal with clients especially about the quality of medical care.

Mr Johnson F. Asiedu, a member of the Volta Regional Planning Committee of the NHIS, said the GHS had organised series of sensitisation workshops on the Scheme.
