The leadership of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has congratulated the newly elected National Chairman of the NDC, Dr. Obed Asamoah and the membership of the party, for the successful completion of their just ended delegate congress. The General Secretary of the NPP, Dan Botwe in a press statement said the time has come for all political parties to bury their differences and do away with the unnecessary tension, which has harmed the entire developmental efforts of the country.

Mr. Dan Botwe is optimistic that all parties would together strive to ensure economic justice and equal political security for the people of Ghana.

In another development, the opposition NDC in Parliament has also extended its congratulations to Dr. Obed Asamoah for emerging as the party’s new National Chairman at the just ended national delegate congress.

Minority Chief Whip, Doe Adjaho, says the NDC caucus in Parliament appreciates the able and mature manner in which delegates behaved during and after the congress. The NDC MPs urged the new chairman of the party to reach out to all members to enable them to contribute their quota to the rebuilding of the party.
