NPP Deception: Paid Billions In Judgment Debts

How long can the New Patriotic Party (NPP) under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo think they could continue to deceive the good people of Ghana about payments of judgment debts when documents available indicate that several judgment debt payments running into billion of cedis were paid by former President Kufuor’s NPP regime.

This political deception of lies and misrepresentation of facts by the (N) PP whenever they are not in power must end, to give way for objective and truthful dissemination of information to the ordinary Ghanaian about national issues to help them make informed decision and choice.

Positive national thinking essential for the socio economic development of Ghana is what the NPP lack in their political discourse and always try to misinform Ghanaians about government decisions to create disaffections. Driven by greed and clouded by selfish political interest, the NPP believe it is their political birth right to rule Ghana and have criticized every single developmental agenda pursued by political opponents from the days of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah through to the Acheampong regime, the Rawlings era and now the Mills Administration.

The forbearers of the NPP opposed the construction of the Akosombo Dam, the back bone of the country’s economy today, the Tema motorway and the Tema Township, the industrial hub of Ghana.

Since last year, the NPP has turned the payment of judgment debts into a campaign message, creating the impression that the NDC government has no sympathy for the people they are governing and must be rejected at the December polls.

The irony, however, is the double standards being exhibited by these apostles of democracy by concealing what the NPP government paid and suggesting the NDC government is only paying what they could avoid if a strong defense is put-up.

This vile propaganda on the judgment debts is spearheaded by the pampered bribe-swallowing NPP media who will publish and broadcast every lie for stipends.
