NPP Financier Predicts Doom and Defeat for Nana Akufo-Addo in 2016

A member and a major financier of the New Patriotic Party, the largest opposition party in Ghana has predicted "doom " and an embarrassing defeat for Nana Akufo-Addo come 2016 general elections if Nana Akufo-Addo does not do away with "criminals" who surrounds him. These individuals according to the NPP financier who received a personal commendation and thank you letter from Nana Akufo-Addo for his generous contributions towards his previous unsuccessful attempts of becoming the president of Ghana are those who largely contributed to and are responsible the defeats the NPP suffered is the previous two (2) general elections.

Speaking on the Osibisa Radio Policy Focus programme aired every Tuesday from 7-10pm, the long time friend and financier of Nana's previous campaigns said, the biggest problem "Nana Akufo-Addo have and has always had" ahead of the 2016 elections are the "criminals" who surround him. He said the NPP's attempt and hope of recapturing power in 2016 with Nana Akufo-Addo as the leader is bound to fail and end in an even bigger disappointment if "he Nana Akufo-Addo" continues to surround himself with people he referred to as "criminals".

According to Mr Konongo Fordjor, persons such as Lord Commey should not be anywhere closer to Nana Akufo-Addo, the flag bear of the great NPP. He described Lord Commey as a "criminal" with one agenda –that is to use Nana Akufo-Addo as a money making machine. Pushed to give reasons why he would describe such a high profiled person in the NPP as a "criminal", Mr Fordjor said "Lord Commey is a criminal who is only interested in his personal gains. He stole T-shirts and items donated by the USA chapter of the party, sold them and used the money to finance his wife's trip to the USA to give birth so his children could get the US citizenship".

Further he said, "people like Gabby Otchere-Da rko and other family members of Nana Akufo-Addo have greatly contributed to Nana's defeat" in the previous general elections and that "trend of loosing general elections is surely set to continue as long as such characters still surrounds" Nana Akufo-Addo. "They have been wrongly advising him and Nana himself will also not listen to and take advice".
